LI Cub Scouts Donate More Than 500 Books For Local Non-Profit

Hindi's Libraries will ship the books to children around the world.

OCEANSIDE, NY — Cub Scouts from Oceanside Pack 230 are helping Hindi's Libraries collect children's books.

Scouts and their families were asked to bring books for the non-profit at their pack night on Wed., Oct. 20.

Led by Amy Hess, Assistant Den Leader and Membership Coordinator, and Cub Masters Michael Blackford and Jesse Mistero, the cub scouts donated more than 500 books.

The books will get sent to organizations around the world for children and families in need.
