Long Beach Adds Accessibility Mats At 3 More Beaches

LONG BEACH, NY — As temperatures begin to warm up this weekend with the official start of summer, Long Beach officials are making the beach experience even more pleasurable.

Beach accessibility mats have been extended at three beaches, the city said on its Facebook page.

Workers added the mats at Minnesota, Riverside and Roosevelt beaches that reach all the way to the high tide line. There are also accessibility mats at Wyoming, New York Avenue, Lafayette, Edwards, Riverside, Neptune and Pacific beaches.
