Long Island Gas Prices Skyrocket; US To Ban Russian Oil

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — With word from the White House that President Joe Biden is planning to ban Russian oil imports, prices are already surging.

In New York, the average is $4.37 per gallon, a record for the state.

Checking the cheapest Rockville Centre gas stations from Gasbuddy.com:

The $4.25 a gallon at the BP at 232 North Long Beach Rd. It's also $4.25 at the Exxon gas station at 516 Merrick Rd.

However, it'll run you $4.29 a gallon at the BP at 2 Sunrise Highway and Conoco gas station at 171 Sunrise Highway.

The national average is $4.18, according to AAA.
