Long Island Woman Killed In Hit-And-Run In Queens
Police say she was hit while crossing Linden Boulevard in Jamaica. The car has not yet been identified.

A Long Island woman was killed on Tuesday after New York City police say she was the victim of a hit and run.
According to police, the woman was crossing Linden Boulevard in Jamaica Tuesday afternoon when she was hit by an unknown car. The car continued heading west on Linden Boulevard and did not stop. Police say the woman, who they identified as 70-year-old Clara Duran-Rodriguez, of Rockville Centre, suffered trauma to her head and hips.
The woman was taken to Jamaica Hospital, where she was pronounced dead by hospital staff at 4:18 p.m.
