Long Islanders Plan Day Trip To Washington For Pro-Israel Rally

NASSAU COUNTY, NY — A rally in support of Israel will take place on Tuesday in Washington. The March for Israel is at the National Mall where thousands are expected to gather.

For those unable to drive directly to DC, Chabad of Merrick alerted congregants to some transportation options.

Buses will be provided from the Oceanside JCC for a $25 donation. Buses leave at 5:30 a.m and are expected back on Long Island at 9 p.m. No food will be provided.

The Great Neck JCC at the Chabad of Great Neck is taking passengers with a $79 donation, down from $99. The bus departs at 6:30 a.m.

The rally is scheduled to run from 1-3 p.m.

Due to limited space for the buses, anyone who is driving to Washington and has room to bring someone can contact the Chabad of Merrick. Conversely, if you like a ride, they will "do our best to connect you with someone driving."
