Larceny

On Aug. 8 at 10:19 a.m., a Broadway resident reported one license plate was stolen from her vehicle while it was parked in her driveway.

Criminal Mischief

On Aug. 9 at 5:11 p.m., a N. Long Beach Road resident reported someone damaged her garage door.

Leaving the Scene of an Auto Accident

On Aug. 10 at 1:58 p.m., a driver reported his car was struck by a pickup truck that left the scene while it was parked on Sunrise Highway.

On Aug. 11 at 3:57 a.m., a driver reported a car backed into his and left the scene while he was driving in Municipal Parking Field 1.

On Aug. 13 at 1:04 p.m., a driver reported her car was struck by a vehicle that left the scene on N. Village Avenue.

Arrests

On Aug. 8 at 10:05 p.m., Maria Jiminez, 54, of Springfield Gardens, was arrested and charged with first-degree burglary, third-degree assault, fourth-degree criminal mischief and obstruction of breathing during a disturbance on N. Centre Avenue.

On Aug. 11 at 1:12 a.m., Deivis C. Holguin, 32, of Freeport, was arrested and charged with third- and fourth-degree criminal mischief, two counts of forcible touching, third-degree assault and resisting arrest during a disturbance on N. Park Avenue.
