Man Arrested For Fatal Shooting In Nassau Last Month: Police
Kyle Matthews faces a charge of second-degree murder, police said.
VALLEY STREAM, NY — A Uniondale man has been charged in connection to a fatal shooting last month in Valley Stream.
Kyle Matthews, 21, faces second-degree murder for the killing of a 20-year-old man with a shot to the chest, police said.
Multiple rounds were fired on the evening of Aug. 21 at a vacant storefront. At least two other people were injured and required medical attention, authorities said.

Matthews was also charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was expected to be arraigned on Thursday.
