On Oct. 2 at 11:26 a.m., the manager at a pharmacy on Hempstead Avenue reported the theft of over-the-counter health items.

On Oct. 5 at 4:39 p.m., a driver reported his car was struck by a another car that left the scene while he was driving on Raymond Street. No injuries reported.

On Oct. 5 at 5:05 p.m., a driver reported her vehicle was struck by a car that left the scene while it was parked on Lincoln Court.

Arrests

On Oct. 1 at 1:29 p.m., Windall C. Mitchell Jr., 29, of West Hempstead, was arrested and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicense operation, unlawful possession of marijuana and a traffic infraction after he was observed driving on Lakeview Avenue.

On Oct. 3 at 11:55 a.m., Tshombe Anthony, 36, of Hempstead, was arrested and charged with public lewdness after an investigation for an incident that occurred on Maine Avenue on Oct. 1. He was also charged with false personation for intentionally providing a false name to mislead police officers investigating the incident.

On Oct. 5 at 4:20 p.m., Corey A. Cummings, 24, of Arverne, New York, was arrested and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana and three traffic offenses after he was observed driving on Sunrise Highway.

On Oct. 7 at 3:42 a.m., Kevin F. Hill, 24, of Inwood, was arrested and charged with third-degree assault after being involved in a disturbance on N. Park Avenue.
