Leaving the Scene of an Auto Accident

On Aug. 16 at 11:23 a.m., a driver reported her car was struck by a truck that left the scene on Sunrise Highway.

On Aug. 16 at 9:08 p.m., a driver reported her car was struck by a vehicle that left the scene while it was parked on Hamilton Street.

On Aug. 17 at 6:39 p.m., a driver reported her car was struck by a vehicle that left the scene while it was parked on Oceanside Road.

Arrests

On Aug. 14 at 5:17 p.m., Anthony A. Galvan, 38, of Baldwin, was arrested and charged with first- and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and two traffic infractions after he was observed driving a vehicle on Sunrise Highway.

On Aug. 18 at 3:50 a.m., Sean M. Marrin, 27, of Southard Avenue, Rockville Centre, was arrested and charged with DWI and a traffic infraction after he was observed operating a vehicle on Devon Road.

On Aug. 18 at 11:31 a.m., Noel D. Martin, Jr., 31, of West Hempstead, was arrested and charged with two counts of third-degree assault after an investigation at Mercy Medical Center on N. Village Avenue.

On Aug. 19 at 4:08 a.m., Leila Recce, 57, of Staten Island, was arrested and charged with two counts of third-degree criminal mischief, third-degree assault and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance during a disturbance on N. Village Avenue.
