Man Chased Down, Mugged at Gunpoint While Walking in Nassau
BREAKING: The robber demanded all of his money before fleeing.

A man was chased down and mugged at gunpoint while walking in Rockville Centre early Monday morning.
According to detectives, while walking on Ongley Street in the vicinity of North Long Beach Road at 6:15 a.m., a 52-year-old man saw another man who deliberately crossed the street and approached him.
After running away, the man, who fell to the ground, was confronted by the robber, who pointed a handgun at him and demanded that he, “Give me all your money.” The man, in fear of his life, gave the robber $22 in cash as well as his cell phone. The robber then fled northbound on foot on North Long Beach Road.

The robber is described as a black man, 5 feet, 7 inches tall, wearing all black clothing, including a black ski mask and black gloves.
