Man Dies After Motorcycle Accident In Nassau
Police say the man failed to make a turn and hit the curb, sending his motorcycle careening into bushes.

A man died in Rockville Centre early Friday morning after police say he crashed his motorcycle.
According to police, a 41-year-old man was driving a 1999 Harley Davidson motorcycle north on Rockaway Avenue at 12:03 p.m. when he hit the curb while trying to make a turn in the road. The motorcycle jumped the curb and hit a car parked in the driveway of 115 Rockaway Ave., then careened through shrubbery, ejecting the driver into a tree.
The man was taken to South Nassau Communities Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 12:52 a.m.

Police have not yet released the man's identity. The investigation is ongoing.
