Man Pepper Sprayed Brothers After Wedding: Police
The man followed the brothers home and then pepper sprayed them in a parking lot, police say.

A man from Hempstead was arrested early Monday morning after he followed two brothers home from a wedding and attacked them in a parking lot in Baldwin, police say.
According to police, Mohamed Samkabba, 37, of Mason Street, was involved in an argument with the two brothers, ages 31 and 47, at a family wedding in Far Rockaway. Police say that Samkabba followed the two brothers when they left the wedding until they pulled into a municipal parking lot on Grand Avenue and Edward Street in Baldwin.
Police say that Samkabba then confronted the 37-year-old and pepper sprayed him, and then stabbed him in the ear with a screwdriver. When the 41-year-old attempted to help his brother, Samkabba pepper sprayed him, too, police say.

Samkabba then got into his car and fled north on Grand Avenue, according to police. He stopped at the corner of North William Street, where a police officer was stopped on an unrelated call. Samkabba got out of the car and told the officer that he had been jumped, police say. Just moments later, the 37-year-old, who was bleeding from his ear, approached the officer on foot and told him about the attack. As the officer was arresting Samkabba, the 41-year-old, who police say was obviously suffering from being pepper sprayed, arrived and confirmed what his brother had said.
Police say they found a large canister of pepper spray on Samkabba when he was arrested. The two brothers were taken to a hospital for treatment.
