Man Shot In Leg Hobbled To Gas Station For Help

The man said he was walking down the street when someone shot him in the leg.

Police are investigating a shooting in Baldwin early Sunday morning that injured one man, and they're asking for the public's help to get information.

According to police, a 31-year-old man knocked on the door of a Valero Gas Station, located at 2054 Grand Ave., and told the employee that he had been shot in the leg. The man said he was walking near Grand Avenue when a Hispanic man (no further description is available) approached him and shot him once in the left leg.

The man was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was admitted in stable condition.
