Man Shot In Leg At Rockville Centre Party; 2 Men Fled: Police

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — A shooting early Thursday at a Rockville Centre hotel put one person in the hospital and two men are being sought in connection to the crime, Nassau County police said.

Just before 2 a.m., a pair of men arrived at the Ramada by Wyndham Rockville Centre on Sunrise Highway where was a party was taking place.

When the door opened, one of the men fired shots into the crowded room, striking a 20-year-old man in the leg, detectives said.

Both men fled, possibly in a black 4-door Honda, traveling westbound on Sunrise Highway, police said.

The victim was taken to an area hospital in stable condition.
