Nassau police are looking for a man who slashed the face of another man, seemingly without provocation, in front of a bowling alley in Baldwin last week.

According to police, a 42-year-old man was standing outside of the Baldwin Bowling Center, located at 2407 Grand Ave., at 2 a.m. on Wednesday, March 28. He was approached by another man, pictured above, who, without provocation, slashed him in the face with an unknown object, causing a deep cut to his upper cheek.

The man fled the scene and flagged down a police officer a short time later to report the incident. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he received more than 50 stitches for the wound.
