Man Struck And Killed By Vehicle On Oceanside Street: Police
The 61-year-old victim died at a nearby hospital, police say.
OCEANSIDE, NY — A man was struck by a vehicle and killed in Oceanside on Saturday afternoon, police said.
The victim, 61, was hit by a 2018 Ford Edge driven by a 67-year-old man, detectives said.
After striking the pedestrian, the vehicle crashed into a building at 3618 Oceanside Rd., police said.

The victim suffered severe trauma and was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
No other injuries were reported. Police are investigating.
