Man Sucker Punched In Baldwin: Police
The man was standing in line at a pharmacy when another man came up from behind and punched him in the face, police say.
BALDWIN, NY — A man was sucker punched in Baldwin in June, and Nassau police said they are looking for his assailant.
A man, 60, was standing in line at Walgreens, at 1968 Grand Ave., Baldwin, when a man he did not know approached him from behind and punched him in the face at 8:24 a.m. June 9, police said. The attacker then got in a black four-door sedan and drove away, police said.
The man who was punched suffered injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital, police said.

Detectives described the man who punched him as black, 6 feet tall, thin build, short dreadlocks hair, wearing glasses, a black t-shirt, dark jeans and black sneakers.
Detectives asked anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
