Stephanie Cole Is Valedictorian Of Sacred Heart Academy 2017
Stephanie Cole, resident of Manhasset, announced as Valedictorian of Sacred Heart Academy Class of 2017.

Sacred Heart Academy is pleased to announce Stephanie Cole ’17, a Manhasset resident, as Valedictorian for the Class of 2017. Stephanie has achieved a GPA of 104.83 in a competitive class of 197 young women. She is a National Merit Commended Scholar and a member of the National Honor Society, as well as the English, Math and Music honors societies. Stephanie maintained a rigorous course load while at Sacred Heart Academy, which included 14 Honors and 8 Advanced Placement courses. In addition, she was one of 81 Economics Honors students to obtain certification in Bloomberg Market Concepts through use of the Bloomberg Financial Markets Lab at SHA (the only one of its kind in an all-girls school). Stephanie is captain of the SHA Varsity Tennis Team and an active member of the Catholic League. Stephanie enthusiastically shares her faith as a Catechist for St. Mary’s Parish, teaching the principles of Catholicism to children. Her service to the community continues through her work as a tutor at Adventures in Learning and as a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. Stephanie looks forward to studying finance at the University of Notre Dame. Stephanie recognizes her confidence as a leader was nurtured at Sacred Heart Academy. She says, “They don’t hold you back. Sacred Heart wants to you learn to be a leader and there are so many opportunities to take advantage of here.”
