Men Robbed At Gunpoint In The Driveway Of Their Nassau Home

Police say they were approached by robbers, one of which was armed, as soon as they got out of their car.

Two men were robbed at gunpoint in the driveway of their Baldwin home on Friday, and police are looking for the duo responsible.

According to police, the two victims, a 27-year-old man and an 18-year-old man, got out of a car in the driveway of their home on Lydia Place just before 6:30 p.m. They were approached by two unknown men, one of whom pulled out a handgun.

The 27-year-old was ordered to the ground while the 18-year-old was held at gunpoint and had his watch, necklace and glasses stolen by the unarmed man. The two robbers then fled east on Lydia Place.

The armed robber was a black man about 25 years old, 5 feet, 8 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing black clothing and had a black bandanna covering his face. The second robber was also a black man about 25 years old, 6 feet tall, 225 pounds with a full beard and mustache. He was wearing black clothing.

Police ask anyone with information about this robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous, and you could receive a cash reward if your information leads to an arrest.
