Mobile Vaccine COVID-19 Unit Coming Friday To Oceanside

OCEANSIDE, NY — While the number of vaccinations in New York stands at least 72 percent, many are still without protection against COVID-19 as the delta variant increases nationally.

The Town of Hempstead, in conjunction with Mount Sinai South Nassau, is bringing the Vaxmobile to the Oceanside Library on Friday.

It takes place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and walk-ins are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Appointments are encouraged.
