ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — Dr. James Lentini was officially installed as Molloy College's seventh president.

A ceremony was held for Lentini, who began his tenure in June 2020 at the Cathedral of St. Agnes that included a traditional donning of the presidential medallion.

"At a time when dubious social media feeds would have you believe that the difference between fact and fiction is a mere matter of opinion, we need more people than ever to think critically and act with empathy toward fellow human beings," Lentini said in his inaugural address. "These are the traits that a college-educated individual brings to our society."
