ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — Molloy University has been named a Top 50 "Best Value College."

The Rockville Centre institution was listed by Niche, a market leader in connecting colleges and schools with students and families.

Along with ranking #50 in the U.S., Molloy is the only Long Island educational facility recognized in the category. The school is only one of five Catholic colleges across the country on the list.

"We are proud to be named one of the top-value universities in the nation,” said James Lentini, Molloy’s president. “Value is the top metric for our students and their families care about, and the ranking highlights the career success achieved by earning a Molloy degree."

Niche uses criteria to determine its top-value colleges, including yearly net price (the average cost after financial aid), graduation rate, median earnings six years after graduation and student-faculty ratio.

In a separate ranking by Niche, Molloy was placed 15th among the safest colleges in America.
