"We are the first nursing school on Long Island to receive this recognition, and one of only twenty-five institutions worldwide," said Lori Persico, Director of Simulation Education and Assistant Professor at Molloy University. "This is a direct result of the collaboration between our highly trained Clinical Learning Center facilitation team, faculty, and our simulation technology specialists, who serve more than 1,000 nursing students each semester.

The Molloy University simulation program provides high-tech, interactive opportunities allowing the student to bridge theory to practice in a safe learning environment.

The nursing students are taught the clinical skills to master for safe nursing practice at two locations: The main campus in the Barbara H. Hagan Center for Nursing in Rockville Centre and at Route 110 in Suffolk County.

"Earning endorsement from INACSL reflects the strength of our program and demonstrates only one of the ways that Molloy University nursing students have leading-edge learning experiences preparing them for excellence in clinical practice," said Marcia Gardner, Dean of the Barbara H. Hagan School of Nursing and Health Sciences.
