On Jan. 11 at 1:08 p.m., a gym patron reported her pocketbook was stolen from her car while it was parked in Municipal Parking Field 1 near Sunrise Highway.

Leaving the Scene of an Auto Accident

On Jan. 8 at 7:45 a.m., a driver reported his car was struck by a vehicle that left the scene while it was parked in a lot on N. Village Avenue overnight.

Criminal Mischief

On Jan. 12, seven car owners reported tires on their cars were damaged overnight while parked in the vicinity of Morris Avenue and Raymond Street.

Arrests

On Jan. 10 at 2:57 p.m., Samuel Koroma, 33, of Rosedale, was arrested and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and other traffic offenses after he was observed driving a vehicle on Sunrise Highway.

On Jan. 11 at 8:49 p.m., Leandro Garay, 23, of Huntington Station, was arrested and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and two traffic offenses after he was observed driving on Sunrise Highway.
