I was thinking about taking the family out for a picnic and a little fishing in our beautiful Village. I thought Smith Pond might be a good place to picnic. The Mayor and AvalonBay say there is a park at Smith Pond? You guessed it Smith Pond Park. After several hours of searching Smith Pond we had to go to Hempstead Lake Park. There were no picnic/benches or access points to Smith Pond.
I know, the Park disappeared. Maybe it was an imaginary Park. The Mayor and AvalonBay thought about in their make believe world of disappearing Housing code limits. The kind of rules that the Mayor can make disappear for the Sponsors of the Make believe Smith Pond Park improvements. Look for more updates on the mysterious imaginary” Smith Pond Park”
