Nassau County Serial Bank Robbery Arrests: Police

Curtis Williams and Demetri Miller face multiple counts of robbery, police say.

BALDWIN, NY — Police have announced arrests related to several bank robberies in Nassau County.

Curtis Williams, 24, of Freeport, is charged in connection to a bank robbery at the Chase Bank in Baldwin on Feb. 7.

Williams is also responsible for robbing a Capital One Bank in Baldwin on Feb. 22, police said.

For that incident, Demetri Miller, 58, of Uniondale, is charged as well, detectives said

In addition, Miller is connected to a Merrick bank robbery in November, according to police.

Williams and Miller are also charged with robbing a CitiBank on Feb. 19 in Flower Hill,

They were scheduled for arraignment on Friday. In an update from Nassau police, Williams was charged with three counts of first-degree robbery and three counts of second-degree robbery. Miller faces two counts of first-degree robbery and three counts of third-degree robbery.
