Nassau Man Arrested After Threatening To Bring Gun Into School
He said he was picking up his grandson from kindergarten, but threatened to get his gun when he was told to show ID, police say.

A Rockville Centre man was arrested after he threatened to bring a gun into an Oceanside kindergarten school building on Monday.
According to police, Kenneth Geller, 72, of Hendrickson Avenue, arrived at Oceanside School 6, located at 25 Castleton Court, at 5:06 p.m. Monday. He told a district employee he was there to pick up his grandson, but was told he would need to show identification for security and safety reasons. Police say that Geller told the staff member that he was going back to his car to get his ID and his gun.
Police say that Geller returned to the front door and continuously pressed the bell and covered the security camera with his hand. School staff were worried and called police. Geller was arrested without incident.
