Nassau Man Attacked and Mugged in Front of Home

A man was beaten and mugged while in Baldwin Tuesday evening, and police are looking for his attackers.

According to detectives, two men approached a 32-year-old in front of 811 Linden Ave. at 5:20 p.m., and demanded money. The man refused, and the two robbers punched and kicked him, causing him to fall to the ground. The robbers took the man's wallet, which contained cash, credit cards and a driver’s license, and fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The victim, who sustained a cut to the face, refused medical attention.

The robbers are described as Hispanic men in their 30's, 5 feet, 10 inches to 6 feet tall, wearing black masks and blue jeans. No further description is available.
