Nassau Police Arrest Two Brothers For March Murder

Two brothers were arrested on Sunday in Nyack in connection with a Long Island murder from earlier this year.

According to police, Shaleek Jenkins, 35, of Hempstead, was shot to death on Sunday, March 13 outside of 269 West Merrick Road in Valley Stream.

After an investigation, detectives arrested Mickey Corley, 37, of Lakeview, and his older brother Christopher Corley, 40, of Nyack. Mickey is charged with second-degree murder and Christopher is charged with first-degree hindering prosecution. They are both scheduled to be arraigned on Monday in First District Court in Hempstead.
