Victim in Baldwin Murder Identified
The woman was allegedly killed over a dispute for payment for sex.

UPDATE: The Nassau County Police Department has identified the victim in Tuesdays murder as Deanna M. Wingender, 25, of Syosset.
According to police, Raphael D. Oyague, 36, of Baldwin, allegedly beat her to death with a hammer following a dispute over a payment for sex. Oyague allegedly contacted Wingender on Craigslist.

UPDATE: Nassau police say that Raphael D. Oyague, 36, of Baldwin, beat a 25-year-old woman to death with a hammer after a dispute about paying her for sex.
According to Newsday, Oyague contacted the woman, who still has not been identified, through Craigslist. She took a car service to his apartment Tuesday night, police said, and Oyague allegedly killed her after their encounter. Around 10 p.m., they say, he moved her body to a grassy area behind his apartment, where she was discovered Wednesday afternoon.

Oyague pleaded not guilty to his second degree murder charge, Newsday reported. He was ordered held without bail.
UPDATE: The Homicide Squad arrested and charged Raphael D. Oyague, 36, of Baldwin on Wednesday night for murder. Oyague is charged with second degree murder. He will be arraigned on Thursday at First District Court in Hempstead.
The victim has not yet been identified.

Nassau Police are investigating what they believe is a murder in Baldwin.
According to detectives, police were called to the rear of 97 Merrick Road at 12:48 p.m. on Wednesday, where they discovered the body of an unknown female. The address is for De Francisco's Pizzeria. Police said the death appears to be suspicious at this time.
