Nassau Woman Finds Ring in Pair of Gloves, Seeks to Return It
She got more than she bargained for during her holiday shopping.

A Baldwin woman got more than she bargained for when she purchased a pair of gloves from Kohl's and found a ring inside.
Sarah Chorne posted on Facebook that she purchased the pair of simple black gloves on Dec. 4 at the Oceanside Kohl's. She tried on the gloves and was quite surprised to find the ring inside.
"I do not think that the ring is an item sold in the store, but perhaps a family heirloom," she wrote.

Chorne's post has been shared more than 2,200 times, but she told Newsday that she still has not been able to reunite the ring with its owner. Kohl's said to Newsday that none of their jewelry buyers recognized the ring, so it is likely not from the store.
