NCPD Warns Drivers To Avoid Closed Street In Oceanside
Commuters driving through Oceanside may need to find an alternate route Tuesday night to avoid a two-way closure.
OCEANSIDE, NY — South shore drivers are advised to avoid Lawson Boulevard in Oceanside Tuesday night after the street was closed in both directions due to a fire, police said.
Nassau County police announced the street closure at 5:07 and did not give a timeline for when the road may reopen. The section of Lawson Boulevard that is closed runs from West Waukena Avenue to Lenox Avenue.
