No. 74 – Take a Zumba Class at the Recreation Center
Zumba is a fun way to burn calories and get active.

Our next activity on our list of 100 things to do in RVC will get you moving and dancing to a sizzling beat while burning calories at the same time. Zumba is a hot new exercise trend, and it's being offered right next door at the RVC Recreation Center.
Zumba started in 2001 as a dance-fitness program inspired by Latino and Middle Eastern international music with a driving beat. Instructors encourage a fun, party atmosphere that makes the dancers forget they are even working out. More than 12 million people worldwide currently experience Zumba, and that could include you!
The RVC Rec Center currently offers classes on Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30 p.m., and Saturdays from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Starting on Sept. 12, the Recreation Center will add a class on Monday from 9:15-10:15 p.m. in addition to the current times.
