No. 79 – Grab Some Sushi at Harusaki
If you're in the mood for sushi, RVC has you covered.

There's something about raw fish wrapped in rice that really whets the appetite. Add some soy sauce and wasabi, and it's the tastiest meal this side of the far east. This week on our 100 things countdown, grab some sushi at any of the three Japanese restaurants in town.
The one with the most flexible hours is Harusaki, located on 282 Merrick Road. It's open straight through from lunch to dinner. I was caught in between the awkward late lunch and early dinner stage, and Harusaki was the only sushi joint open to customers.
Dinner roll combos include three rolls of your choice, and choice of salad or miso soup. I went with the classic California, Tuna and Salmon with the miso. The miso was excellent, even in the hot restaurant on a humid day. The rolls, on the other hand, reflected the weather and were just a little underwhelming. I did manage to finish my plate without any problems, though–after all, it's sushi!
