OCEANSIDE, NY — Nurses at Mount Sinai South Nassau will hold a vote on Thursday to decide whether to join the New York State Nursing Association union.
The 800 registered nurses would fall under the umbrella of the NYSNA.
The hospital workers filed a signed petition with the National Labor Relations Board in October. The election was put on the calendar last month.
