New Outdoor Space Allows Nassau Hospital Workers To 'Recharge'
Mount Sinai South Nassau received a $100,000 gift from Flagstar Bank to built the area.

OCEANSIDE, NY — In an effort to alleviate some stress for Mount Sinai South Nassau employees, an outdoor recharge area has been built.
It's been funded by a $100,000 gift from Flagstar Bank (formerly Signature Bank), the hospital announced.
Flagstar supported Mount Sinai South Nassau throughout the pandemic, first with a "Haircuts for Heroes" event in 2020. A year later, the bank announced the $100,000 commitment to the hospital workforce's well-being by creating the outdoor respace space. It allows staffers to spend time with colleagues, eat outdoors and take a break from daily challenges.
