Pajama Drive for Bethany House A Success

Bethany House Pajama and Slipper Drive at Lucky Finds A Success!

Lucky Finds Boutique held their Second Annual Clothing Drive for Bethany House. The boutique was able to collect over 150 new and gently used nightgowns, pajamas, robes and slippers. All items have been distributed to the residents of Bethany House’s five homes on Long Island. Owner of Lucky Finds, Shannon McComb, was more than happy with the results and S. Aimee, founder of Bethany House, was delighted with the outpouring of warm sleepwear and immediately began distributing the sorely needed items.

Bethany House is dedicated to improving the lives of homeless women and children on Long Island. Their five residences provide safe, supportive, emergency housing and a comprehensive range of additional programs and resources to support families and return them to self-sufficiency. Of those families who have remained at Bethany House for more than two weeks, 94% have successfully found permanent housing. Bethany ‘s five homes are located in Baldwin, Bellmore, and Roosevelt, and can service up to 85 persons nightly.
