Patch AM Rewind: Giuliani Would Rely On Dad's 'Leadership' As Next Gov

NEW YORK, NY — Kathy Hochul seeks her first full term as governor, but first she'll have to win the Democratic primary before getting to the general election.

The Republicans have their own candidates awaiting the June 28 primary, with Congressman Lee Zeldin and Andrew Giuliani likely squaring off the nomination.

Giuliani, a guest on "Patch AM," said former president Donald Trump, who he worked for in the White House, and his father, former two-term New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, are the politicians he gained the most knowledge from.

"I don't like to shy away from that," Giuliani said.
