Pedestrian Critically Hurt; Struck By Vehicle in Baldwin: Police
The victim suffered severe head trauma.
BALDWIN, NY — A serious car crash on Monday night left a pedestrian in critical condition, police said.
It happened at about 7 p.m. when a 21-year-old man was struck crossing Forest Avenue in Baldwin by a 2003 Ford van, detectives said.
The driver remained at the scene and brake and safety checks were performed on his vehicle.
