Larceny

On Sept. 4, a driver reported finding her passenger-side window broken and her handbag missing after returning to her car from the gym in a parking lot near Sunrise Highway.

Burglary

On Sept. 7 at 3:30 p.m., a Hempstead Avenue resident reported someone cut a window screen and entered her bedroom during the afternoon. The homeowner was unable to determine if any property was taken.

Leaving the Scene of an Auto Accident

On Sept. 5 at 4:33 p.m., a driver reported his car was struck by a pickup truck that left the scene while he was driving on Sunrise Highway.

Criminal Mischief

On Sept. 5 at 11:15 p.m., a driver reported her vehicle was damaged while it was parked in a lot near Merrick Road.
