Pet Food Drive Launches With Several Drop Off Locations
People can donate food and other items from March 13-May 4.
ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — Pet food is being collected in coordination with Baxter's Pet Pantry and the office of Assemblyman Brian Curran. Baxter's Pet Pantry is part of Long Island Cares.
Items can be dropped off from March 13 to May 4 at the following locations:
- Curren's District Office: 74 North Village Ave., Rockville Centre
- Malverne Public Library: 61 St. Thomas Pl., Malverne
- Lynbrook Public Library: 56 Eldert St., Lynbrook
- Baldwin Public Library: 2385 Grand Ave., Baldwin
- Freeport Library: 144 W. Merrick Rd., Freeport
All pet food must be unopened and in its original packaging.

- 5-10 pound bags of dog or cat food
- Canned food
- Cat litter
