Nassau Police Looking For Man Who Robbed Cathedral Twice
Police say he broke into St. Agnes Cathedral twice, pried open donation boxes and stole the cash inside.
The Nassau County Police Department is searching for a man whom they say robbed St. Agnes Cathedral on two separate occasions.
According to police, around 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 20, the man in the video above entered the cathedral after it was closed and pried open a donation box to steal the cash inside. on Aug. 27, around 4:30 p.m., police say the man went through a locked gate to gain access to the cathedral and again pried open a donation box and stole the contents.
Police say the robber is a white or Hispanic man with a thin build, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, with medium-length brown hair.

Anyone with information about the robberies is asked to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous, and you could receive a cash reward if your information leads to an arrest.
