Police Release Photo of Baldwin Bank Robber

The robbery occurred last week. Reward offered for info leading to an arrest.

Police are asking for the public’s help to track down a man who robbed a bank in Baldwin last week.

Police released the above surveillance photo of the robber on Wednesday.

According to police, the man entered the Capital One bank located at 2303 Grand Avenue at 5:43 p.m. on Nov. 17, approached a teller and handed her a demand note for money.

After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the robber fled the bank through the rear door in an unknown direction, police said. No one was injured during the robbery.

The robber was described as black, 6-foot-1 with a thin build. He was wearing a blue/gray hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses at the time of the robbery.
