Police Searching for Man who Robbed Nassau Store at Gunpoint

BREAKING: He held up a convenience store and stole money and cigarettes.

Police are searching for a man that robbed a Baldwin convenience store at gunpoint on Sunday.

According to detectives, a man armed with a black handgun entered Milk and Things, located at 1230 Grand Ave. in Baldwin, at 10:05 p.m. Sunday, approached the clerk and demanded cash and cigarettes. The clerk complied and handed over and undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes. The robber fled on foot in an unknown direction. There were no customers in the store at the time of the robbery, and no injuries were reported.

The robber is described as a white man, wearing a dark colored baseball cap, sunglasses, dark colored mask covering the lower portion of his face, blue long sleeved shirt and blue jeans.
