Nassau police are searching for an elderly man who was last seen at his home early Monday morning.According to police, Melvin Taylor, 74, was last seen at his home on Grand terrace Avenue in Baldwin at 2 a.m. Monday. He is a black man, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, with a thin build, weighing 120 pounds with grey hair and a goatee. He suffers from dementia. Detectives ask that anyone with any information on Taylor's whereabouts call the Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347 or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
