Police Locate Missing Hempstead 15-Year-Old, Police Say

Police say they've found a missing 15-year-old after he was last seen May 22.

HEMPSTEAD, NY — Police are enlisting the public’s help in the search for a 15-year-old boy who was reported missing from his Hempstead home Friday afternoon, police said.

Nassau County police said the 15-year-old had last been seen at 5:30 a.m. May 22, leaving his home in Hempstead. His clothing and destination, police said, were unknown.

Police previously said anyone with information on the teen's whereabouts should contact the missing persons squad at 516-573-7347 or call 911.

As of Monday, however, the boy had been found, police said.
