Police Seeking Public's Help in Search for Bank Robber

He threatened to use a gun, although none was ever seen.

Police have turned to the public for help in identifying a man who robbed a bank in Rockville Centre on Dec. 2.

According to police, the man entered the Capital One Bank, located ate 77 Lincoln Ave., at 12:53 p.m. He demanded money from the teller and threatened to use a gun, although he never showed it. He fled on foot after he got the money.

The robber is a black man, 45 to 50 years old, about 5 feet, 9 inches tall, 160 pounds, wearing a dark colored hat, green long sleeve shirt, green pants, round-framed eyeglasses with thick lenses, a dark colored scarf and dark shoes.
