Power Outages Planned For Parts Of Rockville Centre

Maintenance work will cause a loss of electricity for few hours Friday and Saturday morning.

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — Expect some loss of power to parts of Rockville Centre.

The Rockville Centre Electric Department is scheduled to perform some vital maintenance work on Friday and Saturday morning, the village posted on its website.

Friday's outage is expected to run from midnight to 3 a.m. Locations between 273 and 315 Sunrise Highway should anticipate the overnight loss of electricity.

On Saturday, the work is expected to take place from 8 a.m. to noon, and impact several locations on Marlborough Court, Park Lane and North Long Beach Road.

The village advises shutting any sensitive electronic devices before each planned power outage.
