One of the men who was indicted for killing Queens rapper Chinx also robbed a bank in Hempstead armed with an AK-47, prosecutors say.

One of the men who was indicted last week of murdering Queens rapper Lionel Pickens, who went by the stage name Chinx, has also pleaded guilty to robbing a bank in Hempstead at gunpoint.
According to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York, Quincy Homere, 32, of Baldwin, pleaded guilty to armed bank robbery and brandishing a firearm during a violent crime. According to the prosecutor's office, during the course of the robbery, Homere struck one of the bank employees in the face with the butt of an AK-47 rifle.
Homere and his co-conspirators stole more than $375,000 from the Wells Fargo Bank located at 145 Fulton Ave. Homere waived his right to appeal the sentencing if he receives 22 and a half years or less in prison.
