Remembering The Fallen: Honoring Rockville Centre's 9/11 Victims
Eighteen local residents were among the nearly 3,000 people killed.

It's hard to believe it's been 18 years since the terror attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. Everyone remembers where they were that day and what they were doing when they heard the news.
But as time marches on, the memories sometimes begin to fade. Children learn about the attacks in school having not lived it, but only hearing about it. That's why now, more than ever, it's important to remember all of the people who died on that day.
Nearly 3,000 people died in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks 18 years ago. Among those killed were 18 Rockville Centre residents.
